Depression in Primary Care: Linking Clinical & System Strategies
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Announces a Call for Proposals
This Call for Proposals seeks research project proposals designed to answer the question, "What is the real value
of providing quality care for depression in primary care settings, and how can that value be best achieved and
documented? The research is intended to advance the development of combined clinical and economic approaches to
understand and overcome barriers at health plan, purchaser, provider, and patient levels.
Up to $5 million has been made available for value research grants. This Call for Proposals will provide small
grants for projects requiring up to $100,000 or projected to take 32 months or less, and larger grants for
projects requiring $100,000 to $300,000 or projected to take longer than 12 months.
