Planning, Funding and Sustaining a Hospital-Based Palliative Care Program: Tools and Strategies for Success

The Center to Advance Palliative Care sponsors seminar
February 27-March 2, 2003 at
The Philadelphia Marriott, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This seminar is targeted at healthcare managers (including doctors, nurses and administrators) responsible for the planning and implementation of hospital-based palliative care programs. Program partners include the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) and the Pennsylvania Hospice Network.

The program has been approved for 24.5 hours, Category 1, Physician CME Credit. Nursing accreditation will be determined on a state-by-state basis.

The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) is a resource to hospitals and other healthcare systems interested in developing palliative care programs. CAPC's mission is to increase the availability of quality palliative care services in hospitals and other healthcare settings for people with life-threatening illnesses, their families and caregivers.
